Call for Help:AFRICA SPACE FEST 2010 in Algeria, Constantine

Dear Friends and colleagues,
We have participated to AFRICA SPACE FEST which was held in South Africa, Pretoria via teleconferencing. It was a great success.
I have got the proposal to perform the AFRICA SPACE FEST 2010 in
Algeria, Constantine and I have accepted. As you may expect, our environment is not adapted
to international activity, but I do believe that will your help and
active participation, we can meet the challenge.
So please, let me know if you are interested to join the organization or the participation to this activity.

First remark: there will be a competition on robotics including Arabic and African countries. So we have to prepare this competition.

Second remark: we will try to launch a competition on space activity such as astronauts, rockets, water in space, design and construction of small satellite, etc..
We will receive students from Texas, USA.

So we need to meet and to think about the distribute tasks to the members of our organization.

Pr. Zaatri could you please give us some details about what should we do as memebers & what are the main skills that we should have and we should learn to well prepare ou future projects.

At this stage, we need the people to participate in two types of activities:
1- Organization.
2- Technical participation

We have a lot of topics (space, robotics, ...).
we project to launch competitions (robotics, other technical competitions or demonstrations).
We have to contact national, and international teams.
So, I will dispatch tasks to any volunteer member with respect to his/her preferences and experiences.
For example, I have got a discussion today with Meriem (our first member) and since she is already involved in avionics; so I have charged her to take care about the questions related to this topic.

yes MR zaatri,i have already started to work to the topic avionics(rocketry,aerospace,astronomy ....)also about NASA ,and i tried to communicate with students of space school africa.

1)-I thank you for your real interest into the defined topic concerning space, avionics, rockets ans so on. I have more details about this topic. Professors from USA, Australia will give lectures on these topics and we will receive about 100 students from South Africa, USA, France, Romania, ...
2)- It is a good idea to be in touch with south African students who have participate and organized the AFRICA SPACE FEST 2009. I will give you a contact at your private address from south Africa that you can contact from my behalf.

I'm a student in electronics department of Bejaia university (3rd year in electronic licence) and I live in Bejaia, I'm interresting to all developments in electronics, robotics, automations systems.

Great, I strongly believe that this initiative can be successful and productive only with your help. So, you can contact our group at LATA and integrate our organisation team. Try to contact hossem or meriem.
NB: Our group is organizing a first information day tomorrow (24 october 2009) at the centre of Jamiyate el oulama el mouslimine at Sidi Mabrouk. Try to meet them there if possible.

Assalamou Alaykoum,
It's Hamza Djebli from constantine, a student at the National High School of Computer Science in Algiers.

I'm very glad to discover that there are such activities and competitions in our country, especially the team of robotics here in Constantine
I've attended the information day of the club at the center of Jam3iya Al3oulama2 Almouslimine and i really appreciated it.

Thanks to all who work in this organisation, especially to the professor Zaatri who is an honor for us, the people of Algeria, and generally the Muslim people.

Also special thanks to Houssem who was too kind with us that day, Billel who warmly welcomed us yesterday at their laboratory in the university , and Abderrahim (for now, these are the members I had the chance to know, hope I'll have contact with the others also )

Finally, I hope I can help with my best possible, especially with this upcoming event,
hoping i'll be able to share with you all these experiences
