hosted by the CMSM 2011 (Modeling and Simulation of Mechanical
Systems) conference.
Motivation and objectives:
Rehabilitation Robotics has seen a lot of progress recently, with many
new and interesting applications
being developed in parallel by several research groups all over the world.
The primary aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers
working on integrating robotics applications
and rehabilitation and also researchers from other related disciplines
interested in this problem.
The primary target audience of this workshop is robotic researchers
working in medical applications
and rehabilitation, in particular.
Robotic researchers not familiar with rehabilitation and
rehabilitation engineers not aware of robotic applications
can also benefit from this workshop. the aim is to have a wider
community from both sides, robotics and rehabilitation,
aware of the existing rehabilitation robotics applications.
